Uniquely vitalizing, intensely nourishing. Even after the first application, the skin feels healthier, smoother and noticeably cared for. This is ensured by the nourishing oils and the invigorating mix of lemongrass and rosemary oil in this rich facial care product. Beeswax charges the skin's moisture stores and is extremely refreshing.

The incredibly fresh scent of lemongrass and rosemary stimulates the skin and mind. The lemongrass helps refine the pores and thereby provides a temporary, skin-tightening treatment. Rosemary stimulates the mind and blood circulation. The increased blood circulation in your skin supplies your skin cells with oxygen and nutrients. With a variety of positive effects: It strengthens the connective tissue, has an antioxidant effect, vitalizes and stimulates, is rich in vitamins and deeply nourishes.

A powerful combination that is particularly suitable for dry and very dry skin.

WITHOUT synthetic fragrances, colors and preservatives. Without silicones, paraffins and mineral oil-based raw materials.
Purely natural content, vegetarian and without animal testing.

An oleogel is a water-free care product based on lipids (oils and fats). In contrast to emulsions (creams), the skin's moisture content increases slowly during application and no water is supplied from the outside. The increase in skin moisture occurs from within. The natural oils of the oleogel support this process by reducing the transepidermal water loss of the skin. The high fat content of our oleogels in combination with beeswax and propolis therefore cares for the skin sustainably and not only for a short time.

The oleogel is ideal for dry and very dry skin. Since it is naturally very rich, we do not recommend it for very oily skin. For combination skin, we would recommend applying it to the dry areas only.

What is the pH of the oleogel?

For those who don't want to read a lot: Simply put, our oleogel has no pH value.

For those who want to know more: Unfortunately, this question cannot be answered with a simple number, as with conventional emulsions or creams.

Our oleogel is anhydrous and the pH value as we know it is actually only defined for water (or aqueous solutions). The pH value relates to H + ions in the water. The more H + ions there are in the solution, the lower the pH value. That is why one often finds the statement: “Oils have no pH value”.

In principle, however, every liquid has a pH value, but this fluctuates greatly and is not comparable with the pH value of aqueous solutions and is also not as important for the skin as the pH value of water. The whole thing is a very complex topic and since the 50s scientists around the world have been working on developing a system for measuring the pH value that works for every liquid. In organic liquids (like the oils that we use in the oleogel) the pH value is completely different than in water (or creams and emulsions), since they have much fewer mobile protons and the pH value in water is in principle based on it refers to free protons. So you could say our oleogel has no pH value, at least not comparable to the pH value we know.

It depends on your skin type. We generally recommend using it in the evening, as the oleogel then has several hours to develop its effect. If you have very dry skin, you can also use the product in the morning and evening.

No, our oleogel does not contain parabens or other preservatives. Since we designed our oleogel to be completely anhydrous, the protection that nature offers us is sufficient! Many of the ingredients naturally have slightly conserving properties, such as vitamin E or propolis tincture. The lack of water in the recipe also means that bacteria cannot multiply so easily, which makes the use of preservatives unnecessary.

The oleogel is more fluid than I imagined. Is that normal?

Yes, the oleogel is much more liquid than you are used to from a "normal" cream, for example. That is also intentional. If we made it thicker, it would be much too rich for facial care and would look more like an ointment. In addition, the oleogel is, at least in terms of consistency, a little more sensitive to temperature than a "normal" cream. So it can be, for example, if the crucible is in your bathroom and it is warmer there or the crucible is even near the heater that the oleogel becomes more liquid. Therefore, it is best to avoid a location near the heater. If you don't mind a cool gel, you can also put it in the refrigerator, then it will be a little firmer. This can be very refreshing, especially in summer.
